UK II: Ofcom consults on access services requirements for non-domestic TV channels

Ofcom has today published a consultation on access services requirements for TV channels licensed by Ofcom but broadcast in other Member States of the European Union (so-called ‘non-domestic channels’).

Ofcom’s consultation includes proposals to bring signing obligations for non-domestic channels in line with obligations that apply to channels broadcasting to the UK.


Ofcom is also consulting on extending access service obligations to channels licensed by Ofcom and made available in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The closing date for responses is 16 December 2015.
